Hanukah Day 5 – Wealth and Poverty and Satisfaction

During this winter solstice ritual of kindling lights in the darkest hours of the season we call Hanukah, let us contemplate those lights with renewed intention. The following intentions are meant to be contemplated as a conversation within our deeper selves, between the old master and the child within. We invite you to clarify your way forward through dark times in this curious conversation between those two old wisdom masters who happen to meet – a Chinese sage known as Laozi and a Hebrew sage known as Qohelet whose teachings emerged around the fourth century BCE. How might this curious conversation inspire our contemplation in kindling light amidst the darkness?
