14/21: (Wednesday) Today marks 14 days along the journey of the three weeks where the crack in everything beckons a polishing the luminal darkness of this time. Yearning for divine presence amidst apparent absence the more you meditate on this time and place of your life. Such contemplation of this absent presence is expressed here Benjamin Shevili’s recent collection, Poems to Yova (2022):
Now
at this moment
exactly currently
here in truth
right here alongside
the table
a chair
Questions for self-reflection:
1. How does self-awareness of the reality of being “at this moment/exactly currently/here in truth” open a deeper doorway into non-dual consciousness?
2. If all you really need in life is “right here alongside/the table/a chair” then how do categories like sacred and profane affect your ability to be present to this mundane moment while birthing something more than meets the eye?
